HeartZone is a quick and easy way to calculate your heart rate using your iPhone or iPod touch. It takes only ten seconds to accurately find your heart rate, which is then saved with the time, date and type of exercise. This allows you to track your heart rate changes during exercise and stay in your ideal training zone.
HeartZone measures heart rate through screen taps. HeartZone’s tapping interface has been shown to be as accurate as a standard pulse monitor when used correctly, and is more accurate than many other methods of determining your heart rate.

The heart rate information you need to use HeartZone is explained simply and clearly in the Info section. Since HeartZone relies on your being able to find your pulse, make sure that you can CLEARLY feel your pulse from your neck or wrist before purchasing.
